Worst place I've ever been. The sound crew needs a drastic retraining. The back up guitarist was louder than any other performer including the lead vocalist. The drummer had a louder mic than the lead vocalist. Something must have gone wrong with the smoke machine because the whole room was full of smoke and you could barely see the shape of the performers. There was also terrible feedback from something going on witht he mics overlapping the speakers at several points. The bass was up so high it muffled the singers to the point of being unable to even recognize any word outside of "oh". Paying any amount of money to sit inside a giant smoke filled metal box as if it was some clapped out sh!tbox with the bass turned all the way up is ludicrous and should be shut down. Will not come back ever. Having the volume up to be loud for the sake of being loud does nothing but ruin any ounce of music that is trying to come through the speakers. The entire event was a slap in the face of the consumer and major disrespect to the performers. We saw SIIN, See This Through, and Cold. Save your money and time and just listen to the music on your radio as it is overall a better experience than this venue could ever be with its...
Read moreThis place is a dumpster fire! It is just two pole barns built together at the garage doors in the center.... Where they put there bar. That's all good, till the venue needs to use its Sound system... There is NO acoustic damping or turning so what ever is played sounds like garage, then it bounces off the walls and becomes LOUD GARBAGE!
Another problem that they face is the kitchen/bar... You have to go to the bar to order anything from the menu, when you do order they will tell you you have to come back to the bar to pick up your order.... But they will never tell you how long it's going to take and will NOT CALL OUT YOUR DONE ORDER.... You have to go back to the bar AND ASK FOR IT! Don't be surprised if your food comes cold. And on top of that the whole entire staff has the mentality of "Don't care...", so I don't.
I advise you to never come here. Save yourself the time, money and headache and go to a good venue. Let my experience be a...
Read moreWent to the Mr. Speed event Saturday the 11th. It was my first time there and wasn’t sure what to expect. Venue itself is nice but could definitely use more tables maybe along the walls. People need a place to lean when you’re standing for 4+ hours. As for the event itself, doors were supposed to open at 6pm, that did not happen. They only had one person doing the metal detector wand which caused a huge delay in getting things started. Show was supposed to start at 7pm but when more than half the audience is still outside waiting to be checked for weapons, they delayed the start. After the opening act was finished they took a break of more than half an hour. Mr. Speed didn’t get started till after 9:30. I only got to listen to 5 songs before I had to leave because I drove almost 2 hours to even get there. $9 for a well drink that was watered down. My friend said her beer was not even cold. I will likely...
