I would do the summer student deal for 3 months and the winter student deal for 1 month. The first 3 times I did this with my debit card, theyd overcharge me after the 3 months or 1 month membership that was agreed upon. When I went to sign up, it seemed like they had no idea what they were doing.

The last time, I decided to pay for the winter student deal all up front in cash so they couldn't overcharge me. About 6 months after I the winter membership, I got a letter from the state collection service saying I owed YMCA an additional 20 dollars. This charge was wrong and should not have ever happened. I paid in full to start with. In addition, I hadn't received any phone call or letter from YMCA before this telling me about this wrongful charge. I had to call and eventually they cancelled the charge, but I'm sure it hurt my credit score. They have no idea what they're doing at the front desk.

Picked up my son yesterday from the y care after school and his finger was slammed in the door by a “teacher”. I was not notified about this at all, only through my 9 year old. No accident report? Nothing. Now he’s still complaining of pain I got him a finger splint and sent him to school. Only to be in the emergency room tonight after several calls from school nurse saying he needs to have a hole put in his nail to release pressure/blood. So I had to leave work, hopefully I don’t get fired because I’m still within the first year working for this company.
