Rosie’s Farm Market: Delightful Roadside Farmers Market - A Delightful Gem!
We visit this fantastic market every time we are in our way home from he Jersey Shore. We found this enchanting place totally by mistake one year. To avoid traffic on the ACE we took the scenic back roads home and now we have something to look forward to that takes away the vacation is over blues. It’s a charming roadside farmers market and was utterly delighted by the experience. Nestled in a picturesque setting, this market offers an impressive variety of fresh produce, including vegetables, fruits, and jams, not to mention an assortment of refreshing drinks.
The highlight for me was the famous New Jersey corn and tomatoes. The corn was exceptionally sweet and crisp, perfect for grilling, while the tomatoes were bursting with flavor, ideal for salads and sauces. It's clear that great care goes into cultivating these local favorites.
The market also features a delightful selection of flowers, plants, herbs, jams, with flavors ranging from classic strawberry to unique blends like peach-ginger. Each jar is a testament to the quality and craftsmanship of the vendors.
Amish bread, pies and baked goods are the first delight of the eyes upon entering. The drink selection is equally impressive, with juices and homemade ciders that are perfect for a hot day.
The friendly and knowledgeable staff added to the overall charm, providing helpful suggestions and information about their products. The prices were reasonable, especially considering the quality and freshness of the items.
Overall, this roadside farmers market is a gem that offers a delightful shopping experience. Whether you're a local or just passing through, it's worth a visit for the exceptional produce and warm,...
Read moreI stopped there today to buy fruit and vegetables. The food cart that customers use was dirty. I started to clean it myself. Rosie saw me and didn't offer help. Instead, she watched me pick up the dirty particles from the previous customer and opened up a bag for me to put them in. I was annoyed but I let it go. Next, I asked her where the ladies' room was. She pointed to a Porta Pottie. I was desperate so I opened the door to the Porta Pottie and it was disgusting. I quickly closed it and got sick to my stomach. All she had to say was we don't have a ladies room but Wawa is five minutes down the road instead of directing me to something that filthy that looked like it had not been cleaned for weeks. I will never again buy...
Read moreRosie's has been a go to stop every time we head for the shore or on the way home. The produce is always fresh and the staff is very helpful and friendly. I only have two requests. Please provide a scale that customers can use out on the floor to get an estimated weight of their selections. Also the scale being used by your employees when being rung up the scale window should light up for me the customer to see the weight from where I stand. That window on the back of the stand is for customers to view the actual weight being rung. Why is that panel dark?. I've had a few sticker shocks by not knowing how much my produce is weighing. That's not ok. This needs to be addressed immediately. It's kind of shady. Overall I would...
