Dollar General — Local services in Harrison

Hit and Miss Customer Service. It all comes down as to who is working that shift when you as a customer come in to shop. Some of the employees are sullen, distant, aloof, and could literally care less. They are dullards. They don’t want to be there and IT SHOWS. They don’t say hi. They don’t say thank you. They don’t smile. They don’t look you in the eye. Now let’s be honest. This is Harrison AR. The work pool to choose from is NOT a good one. People fall into two groups here—- the high school educated locals with no ambition and few career goals. The other half are the ones with better jobs and more money who drive around in their SUV’s , going to church so they can pretend to be Christians and pontificate hate and judgement while saying “Have a Blessed Day.”. So I feel sorry for the managers at DG who have a bad work pool and judgmental customers . I DO Hope Dollar General stays around and does well so they take as much business as they can...

Dollar General is one of my most frequent 'Honey can you pick up milk and eggs?' stop. The location of the store is very convenient, considering it is less than a mile from my home. The prices are not the best by any means. Although, they have decent sales on items from time to time. This storefront is very cluttered. This is the worst of the dollar generals. The young man working was nowhere to be found after walking around the store asking if anyone was working. When he finally arrived he was nice although he started complaining "explaining" why he was gone. He stated the previous worker was right next to shoplifters stealing phones. After all that they didn't have anything I was looking for and the store was messy and out of stock of items or just...
