Almost Everytime we have came for past two seasons, the teenagers running place have closed the pool. Today the lightning reported was over 30 miles away. The biggest problem is that the life guards openly celebrate and dance every-time they close or delay so they can go into the life guard room and play on their cell phones and do TikTok dances. Not to mention that earlier this week witnessed a life guard too busy taking selfies to get a little boy out of the pool that was bobbing and in obvious trouble after getting hit by someone coming down the slide. Some man swimming with his family got the child out of the pool before she even realized what was going on. If your child or family is black, brown, or obviously from the LGBTQ+ community, don’t look to the life guards expecting help. You won’t get it. We will not waste another $300 next year on a membership that you can’t use half of the time because teenagers are making...
Read moreHad a good time with my wife. But I will say one of the life guards absolutely refused for us to go into the lazy river bc we had no floats. But there was 5 people that didn't have floats but we were the only ones that was told to get out. That's fine we got out and moved to the other pool where's it's 5ft deep and I couldn't touch bc I'm 5ft tall so I held onto my wife's arm and the life guards changed spots we wasn't even in the pool 10 minutes and he said I wasn't allowed to do that and there's people throwing and tossing their kids in the pool but they can't just hold my wife's arm. It's a good place for a FAMILY day but nothing more. Very rude life guard and it was just him. I'd rather save my money and keep going to point mallard. I'd rather pay 28 then 20 bc the life guards there a soooooo much nicer and...
Read moreThe pool itself is nice and well maintained. The issues that we have are with the pool being closed. The hours on the Facebook page, the website, and the Google page are all inconsistent with when the pool is actually open. When we shelled out the $250 for a family season pass, we were told that the pool would be open through labor day (September 3rd) and the website states that the pool would be open until the end of summer (September 22nd.) Here it is, August 25th, and the pool has been closed for a week.
I doubt any member of the municipality will address this concern directly. It is no surprise that most people prefer to do business outside of this...
