After reading positive reviews we decided to stop by and were alarmed by the number of sick goats with diarrhea. I mentioned it to the worker who told me they had been treating them for parasites but it wasn’t working and they’d probably bring a sample in to the vet soon. I was curious with so few goats and many of them males how they made all the soap, caramels, etc. I asked the employee if she made the soap and she said no they had offered to let her try but she never had. After leaving I went to their restroom where they had a cabinet of bars of soap in cellophane that said it was resting. Several had stickers with lot numbers. I took a picture and asked ChatGPT if it could identify the bar of goat milk soap anywhere for sale online and it came up with two options that matched. Then I asked if either of those carried two the scents I saw for sale in the store and in the cabinet and lo and...
Read moreA lovely little stop on the way to Akaka Falls! The proprietress inside the shop was extremely kind and friendly. She sells an assortment of goat products, such as fresh flavored goat cheese (with cute little insulated to go bags), TO DIE FOR goat milk caramels (definitely! get! these!), candles, shirts, and more.
However, I bet you’re probably here because you want a little “goat therapy”… so yes, you can also buy a little baggie of treats for $1 — it actually goes a long way! The baggie will have some longer pieces which you can put in your mouth and try to bribe for a goat kiss. ;)
I loved the speckled brown one and the all-white one was adorably bossy. They may rear up and put their hooves on you, so be aware that might happen! Also, if you don’t share the treats fairly… they may start to lightly chew on you, haha. Just make sure you don’t have a backpack or something they can...

Farm is located on the road heading to Akaka Falls. The shop is at the bottom of a steep, one-car-width steep(ish) driveway with ~6 parking spots. Additional side-of-road spots along the road by the fence (try to not block the driveway).
Petting zoo had several baby goats that were seeking pettings and snacks. You can buy a small case of snacks in the shop. Otherwise, it is free to visit.
Fresh goat cheese with many flavors for sale (with crackers on the side) plus the fancy caramels (2 flavors). We opted for the sea salt ones! *Reminder, keep caramels cool or in the fridge!
Hoping we will be able to visit again on our next trip!
Edit, 1.5 months later: I'm still enjoying the sea salt caramels (that I keep in the...
