My face hurts from smiling, I had such a great time! During our visit to Kona, I signed my daughters up for a semiprivate lesson. Initially the weather and waves were not cooperative. Jae did a great job of communicating that we could not go out and offered a refund or reschedule. I am so happy that we chose to reschedule. Once the ocean and weather were safe, Jae was waiting at the beach. He provided sunscreen, rash gaurds and booties. The lesson started with a brief land introduction (5 minutes). Next they paddled out and my girls were upright within 30 minutes. It looked like so much fun that I signed up for another lesson. Jae and Jonah were great! My three kids 8, 12 and 13 years, were constantly catching waves that I took a million photos and when I would look down they would be surfing a new wave already. They had three lessons and all three lessons was filled with kids catching wave after wave like magic. Jae and Jordon knew where the waves were, when to tell the kids to start paddling and when they might need an extra push to be at the right speed. My kids LOVED the experience. Jae and Jonah were very careful and always explained how the water was flowing and where to be safe before going out. I felt my kids were safe in their care.
