Food Lion — Local services in Hawkinsville

I'm a remodeler and working on a house a mile from here. Not too many choices in the vicinity to eat. I decided a grocery store would be healthier than fast food so stopped in. Found they have a hot bar, very limited choices. I grabbed 5 chicken wings, a small scoop of Mac and cheese and a mozzarella stick. First, at the register my little meal weighed in at $10.69, someone pointed out that I had.2 clam shell boxes stuck together, so we got them unstuck and put back on scale and rang in at $9.89 . So the to go box alone ends up costing 80 cents - that's annoying in itself. The chicken wings were dry and the meat had a ton of fat and gristle. The cheese Mac was instant, probably generic food Lion brand, the cheese stick was blah and about tasteless. While they do offer some condiments like ranch and whatnot, they charge 50 cents per a tiny cup, maybe a couple ounces. The only reason for me giving 2 stars instead of none was because the cashier and another employee that I came across were very friendly and helpful. Next time I will be eating a Mac double, save myself $7 or $8, that's pretty pathetic Look, I'm not s cheap person and gladly pay for a good meal. Have been buying my groceries here for several years. I live in Abbeville Georgia and it was convenient for me. I went Sunday morning June 15 to buy groceries. I spent over $200.00. I purchased three six packs of zero coca cola and three six packs of zero cherry cocola. I had my receipt showing i had purchased three six packs of zero cherry cocola. When I got home there were only two six packs of zero cherry cocola. I immediately called Food Lion and spoke to a male employee. He stated they would have to look at the cameras and talk to the manager and call me back. I was treated like a criminal and a liar. I am a Deputy Sheriff with Wilcox County. If it isn't paid for i don't want it. The male employee called me back and said they looked at the cameras and all my items were scanned by the cashier and that there was nothing more they could do. I can I will never go back to Food Lion again. I was a loyal customer but my business will go to Harveys supermarket in Eastman and...

I have never been more delighted with a food Lion than this one I shopped at food Lion in Augusta for years and years the one in Martinez actually and it was a great store and then it started going downhill and it became a really gross store this one though it is absolutely and they are as clean sometimes even cleaner than some of those stores are just mentioned that I've been in recently in places like Perry Warner robins those are the areas I live in it is a beautiful store and the staff treats you respectfully and kindly they have the nicest nicest produce section and also fresh meats I have found the most delicious pork chops chicken and variety of those items at that store I...
