Listen up Owner/Manager, we had a scheduled dinner party at your restaurant today that consisted of many out of town guests and several of us who are Hawkinsville residents. I have eaten at your restaurant several times different days of the week and on holidays. Your food taste and quality are inconsistent ( it doesn't taste good all the time). It's good sometimes and some days it's not so good. Class reunions food is superb. The next day food is not so good. Today the food was bad. I just tried to eat my leftovers it's bad, very bad reheated (chicken, macaroni, ham, roll, and a salad) dressing on salad is not like any dressing I have tasted. It's watered down and tastes like paste. I put hot sauce on my chicken and it made it worst. I'm not exaggeating. The food you serve at the class reunions are perfectly cooked. Great! Wonderful! Good! I have been to your restaurant during lunch hour and dinner when there were some items that were suppose to be warm or hot but were cold. I was embarrassed today by the fact that I had recommended your restaurant as one out of several to have a dinner party for out of town guests to fellowship at. Your manager on duty was reportedly rude to my aunt who had setup this dinner approximately a week ago and paid to have this done. Bad customer service, makes your food bad. I know it can be better. The only reason I'm giving 2 stars on this rating is because of our hostess Makayla made it better, along with the guys that came with the burners to keep the food warm and to try and fix the apparent mixup in the menu items. My suggestions 1. get a separate appointment book for writing down special occasion dinner parties in. Match the persons name with date,time, menu ,special request.2. Treat all of your guests special. 3. Get your food quality consistent!!! The taste, the quality is not consistent at all. It should be GOOD All The Time. IT IS NOT!!! 4. Read ALL ofyour reviews, I did. These people are not being mean, listen to the 1,2,3,4 star ratings, they are trying to tell you what's wrong. Service, Quality, Food, Inconsistent Taste!!!! Make it better. All of your cooks should be making this food taste Great Everyday, not just on class reunion times. I no longer live in Hawkinsville, but I do make suggestions to others who ask, what's in hawkinsville, where is a good place to eat?

First of all the only reason this gets a 1 star is because it is mandatory. Plus the soft serve Ice cream was pretty good. Here is the bad. Visited 8/29/2014 7 pm. Do not live here had to wait about 10 minutes to sit, they were busy but plenty of empty tables Place was hot and stuffy, around 75-80 degrees inside. Took about 10 minutes just to give drink order. Ordered 2 buffets 2 menus Buffet food is as plain as it gets, very little flavor, everything was bland. There was a piece of grilled fish under water by its self under water the whole time we were there. I guess no one would man up and try it. Cold shrimp was in water and not on ice ( I have never seen shrimp in cold water) fried oysters were real doughy. Nothing but the salad bar and ice cream worth the $18 cost of the buffet. Not sure if you can eat that much lettuce!. Waitress walked by several time with out asking if we needed anything. You have to wave them down. Menu items: Beef tips well done, gravy tasted burnt like the beef tips. The beef tips were 15 minutes away of being Beef jerky. The baked potato was delicious, (not really it just so happen to be the best part of the meal) Other menu item was a shrimp plate. The sad part about this was it is the same kind of shrimp on the buffet and it took over 20 minutes to get it. The fries were soggy. Bathrooms are dirty but not nasty yet, getting there though. Miscellaneous Watched another waitress spend most of her time talking to a male customer by himself. Thank goodness we didn't get her or we would of had to go to McDs Conclusion: avoid it like the plague. Even if it is the only place open. I have had better seafood in the mountains far away...

Service was exceptionally bad. Our server totally forgot about us and ignored us throughout the entire time. We ended up staying there for 2 hours just because we had to wait on her to remember us again. While we were waiting for the check, or boxes, Or literally anything, she was chatting with other customers, getting them deserts, and greeting entirely new ones. It was a bit ridiculous. On top of that the staff never wear uniforms with the only exceptions being the manager and the servers. So it’s hard to know who works there and who can help you when your server is too busy making ice cream from the self serve bar for some customers to care about you. The food is bland. Buffet food is bland as hell. And dried to hell and back. The restaurant is always quiet. No music no nothing. Half the walls are unpainted. And the majority if not all the clientele is elderly. Which tells me all I need to know. The food is never going to touch seasoning, the cooks never use salt, the sweet tea is never really gonna have enough sugar, and the salad is going to have been sitting out all day. There’s never going to be music or an updated interior. The inside is always going to look old and half worn down with pictures of baseball players in the 1900’s and nothing new ever.

It’s okay for what you pay for. But I’m definitely not going again. At least not until I’m 70+ because that seems to be the only people who actually like...
