Dollar General — Local services in Haysi

Easy location to get in and out of. Store was clean. Clerks are courteous. Aisles are narrow and hard to navigate. Quite a few aisles and displays were blocked by stock racks. Many of the advertised items were not available here which is understandable as it's a smaller store. All in all, it's a good location to pick up basics but if you're looking for advertised specials, I suggest going to a larger store. I do not suggest going to this location if you are handicapped or wheelchair bound, navigating the aisles would be...

The 2 cashiers that work there as of Nov 23 2020 are rude when ask if they have a certain item they told me if we do then it's on the shelf, and stand talking about people and when people are trying to check out they keep on talking to each other and scan your stuff as slow as they can when the line is backed up , as for the cleanest of the place it's awful dust on shelves floor needed to be cleaned can't get through the isles cause boxes all over the place blocking the isles can't get buggy through barley can...

My daughter came down to haysi dollar store and these Mexicans took her wallet out of cart.She is a single mom and had her kid with her.I am glad she didn't have cash on her she be ruined.They didn't look at videos or calkedctge cops.They told her where it was it was all opened but nothing took out the was looking for cash.Ladies watch your stuff at all cost!!Just because we in a small town with low crime...
