We purchased a couch and recliner. The sales person was great. We were told delivery would happen on the following Friday which was fine. That didn't happen as the warehouse hadn't placed our furniture on the truck. Was told "they do that all the time" So delivery would happen the following Friday. They didn't call so we called them on Thursday and we were told they couldn't deliver it due to no reply when they called earlier in the day. They had written down an incorrect phone number. Didn't get their call. After quite a long conversation with them they compromised and said instead of another week they would try and deliver that afternoon. Long story short- they tore a hole in our new screen door and when we reported it we were told we should have been watching and helping them with this. We had paid for delivery. We thought they knew what they were doing but accidents do happen. But the grief we got with this entire purchase has us shopping elsewhere...

We traveled two hours to purchase particular prints. I called in advance to check on availability. My husband wanted one print on the wall that was not available on the floor. Another sales associate was not interested in taking the available print off the wall and made it clear how he felt about the request. That is off for a furniture store, where art pieces are routinely removed off the walls. Thankfully, our sales associate was willing to help and we left the store with the 3 prints we were interested in. We also sensed a clear distinction in how customers of a certain affluence were addressed and treated. Thus, though our associate was great and our prints were exactly what we were looking for, we left with a negative experience and do not plan to return for future...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI had much the same experience as Tina Poss. No one was in the store, so it wasn't like the sales people were busy. Adam was the sales person who helped me, although "helped" is stretching it. When I, my daughter, and my sister, had picked out two lamps and Adam brought them up to the counter, we noticed that the shades did not match exactly. Adam just brushed it off as if we were seeing things. We also noticed that the other shade was dented. He now was making fun of us with another sales person and said that no one else would ever notice it. I was very angry at the laughter and told them I didn't like being made fun of and walked out. I will never go back there again. And that's too bad, because I live fairly close, love going to Hayward, and have a new lake home where I may have spent a lot of money. I've never been treated like that by a salesperson. - 5 stars...
