Yes, this is in one of the strangest locations ever. I imagine back in its glory days and when the Blues practiced there it was the spot to be. You have to ignore the abdomen mall and focus on the rink. From a hockey standpoint, it’s a nice sheet of ice. Has the basics, what you need to play a game of hockey. No bells and whistles, no frills. Decent spectator area. Friendly staff. There is nothing around so plan on 15 min one way for a coffee run, etc.

Dumpster fire. Why does this place still exist? I guess the top tier two team the Sting practice in this place. STL needs to build a few more rinks and tear this place down. I hope i never have to come back. You will only go here if you are playing them or a tournament. Be prepared in the winter it is super extra cold.

It's a blessing the blues are leaving the Mills. What a run down dump. The rink itself is still operated and maintained. They actively teach people to skate and host practices. It's a bummer it's at the Mills.

I’ve been skating at the mills for about two years, the ice is pretty good and the locker rooms are spacious. I don’t understand their management of the ice... they do not offer stick and puck, but they’ll offer a 2 hour public skate that no one attends. They also do not offer an online schedule, then when you call most of the people who answer are pretty confused. I think this rink is what is keeping the mall open... probably not for...

The rink itself is fine. The ice seemed good and it was bright. The abandoned mall that surrounds it provides a nice dystopian touch. The garbage that was piled around the cans outside seemed to be collected overnight by a family of racoons so be on the lookout if you are there late. If you have time to kill during a tournament or something, there is a Goodwill outlet nearby, if you can imagine...
