DG Market — Local services in Hazlehurst

So I just pulled up into the parking spot, at 9:54 PM. I knocked on the door at 9:55 PM and found it locked, which is why I looked at the clock. I went there for one thing specifically and I could see the item. They would not open the door and I could see other customers inside the building casually finishing their shopping. I called the store and some little shift manager answered and explained that they always lock the door at 9:55 PM. . I said I just need less than 60 seconds to grab my item and pay cash for it. She continued to decline. She stated she could see me Outsideon the camera and her cashier on the camera. I asked her could she please pick up the item for me and I’ll give her the cash for it, and she declined this as well. I needed this item very bad. And so if the business hours end at 9:55 PM, then the store needs to post that as the closing time instead of 10 PM. It’s really as simple as that. I wouldn’t have bothered leaving a review, it’s set for the fact that I’ve already had multiple really bad experiences here. The younger staff that works here is pretty much all garbage. The older ladies in charge that are there mostly during the day are OK, I’ve never had any bad experiences with them. But apparently the young crew can’t be trusted for their customer, service skills, or how to interpret closing...

This store is one of my fav stores to shop. The associates are friendly for the most part. I love Ben, Jasmine, Jennelle, and Megan (i think). There are a couple more ladies that really impress me. But the older lady could use some pointers on how to treat a customer (unless everytime I had to deal w her she was having a "bad day". This store almost always has what i am...

After the remodel, the team members there have the same bad attitude. No greetings when you arrive, and no one willing to answer questions. When we tried to drop off a FedEx package, as directed by the Dollar General website, we were instructed to across town to a different location. Either the website needs to be updated or the laziness...
