Keel and Company Distilling Inc — Local services in Headland

Hands down the best distillery in Alabama. You can tell how passionate they are about the product they make from the flavor profile and the ingredients. I also appreciate that they have experimented significantly to get the absolute best out of their liquor. Even alcohol I'm not super keen on like gin (try the dark gin it's heads above others) is just about flawless. I'll agree with the staff that they have put in the effort to make sure everything you can order is better than any commercial large scale operation. Super excited to see what else comes out of this distillery and even when I head back to Colorado I'm gonna have to smuggle a few bottles back for my liquor cabinet. Good drinks. Good beer. Lackluster service. We were sitting at the bar and waited over 20 minutes for a second drink. Watched one bartender serve one drink in that time while other served every one else that walked up. Stood up to perhaps be noticed, but that didn’t work to my advantage either. We would have had several drinks but decided to pay out after the first one. We visited here as part of Harvest Hosts. We found out shortly before arrival that they were closing early for the holiday. When we got there Ricky & Stacey were so kind. Went out of their way to give us a tasting and serve us great drinks. Got our RV set up for the night after some visiting.
