This is a dedicated gluten-free restaurant. They serve breakfast and lunch and lots of baked goods. I have celiac disease and need to be dairy-free also. We ate inside their adorable café while listening to Mile's Davis, Billy Holiday, etc. The atmosphere was very nice!
The prices are surprisingly very reasonable for how specialized they are.
I had the fried chicken (huge) sandwich with tater tots. Both were delicious and very, very crispy. My husband can eat gluten and he is from New York. As he says, he is particular about his food, even gluten free versions. He had the chicken bacon ranch wrap (GF tortilla) with crispy French fries, which were good. He said the quality and flavor were great! The wrap did not fall apart. He wished the wrap was bigger, however, that is hard to do gluten free because the wrap could fall apart if bigger. He had a gluten free oreo chocolate cup cake (with dairy) with white frosting covered in oreo crumbs and an oreo cookie on top in the center. I had a gluten-free dairy-free chocolate cupcake, with chocolate buttercream frosting. Both were very delicious! Hard to believe all of this was 100% gluten free.
We bought cupcakes and cookies to share with two of my friends that are gluten intolerant. They were excited to learn of this restaurant.
The owner, Ruth, has celiac disease and completely understands. She and her staff are very professional, kind, and helpful.
We live 38 miles northeast from this restaurant. We were in Dothan and found this restaurant on this Find Me GlutenFree app. Well worth the drive and wait for our food to be cooked....
Read moreSo both of my parents have passed away in the last 2 years at 55 years old. Its been extremely hard on me especially since my Dads birthday is 5 days before mine. Every single year for his birthday growing up he would want this specific pistachio cake. It’s not your normal cake, it’s made with pistachio pudding and whip cream for the frosting (I know sounds crazy but it’s freaking amazing). The owner knew how special this cake was to me and replicated the gluten free version of it but instead using REAL WHIP CREAM! It instantly reminded me of my dad and filled me with so much happiness ❤️. I truly cannot thank you enough for doing this. It was so moist and that frosting 😮💨🙌🏼 seriously RUN do not walk to try this cake. It was late so I didn’t get the best pictures but seriously this cake is EVERYTHING we devoured it! Even my husband who’s not celiac loved it! We even shared a few slices with our neighbors who also are not celiac but the text message speaks for itself, it truly was that freaking amazing. If you haven’t visited them yet please do, the hospitality is the best around the owner truly makes you feel as if you’re family. And when you leave there I promise you end up leaving with a bag full of...
Read moreI have been searching for a restaurant /bakery for awhile and I must say I was very disappointed the food was horrible,. ordered a bacon cheese egg sandwich with tater tots, and a fruit cup for the price I paid I was expecting a much better product,1 slice of bacon so thin you could see thru it, I barley found a egg and the cheese I understand gf bread is very dry but this was way dryer as they did not ask about condiments. The fruit cup was about 6 grapes and 6 blueberries then I had to ask for the tater tots as they forgot them. If you drink unsweetened tea, soda etc forget it they only sell these with sugar . I did not try baked deserts as I was there for breakfast I think maybe they should stick to cookie, cupcakes pies etc..
Just one persons opinion whom has been...
