Beware red heads and anyone wanting an undercut design. I spent $300 on the worst haircut and color on my life. I left so embarrassed that I didn’t leave my house for 5 weeks. Heath Hair Salon & Spa should be ASHAMED of themselves for allowing THIS. I have included pictures of what I requested and what I got.
The color I requested was a red ombré that goes from deep bright red, to a flaming copper. I got my natural dark brown hair as roots…and strawberry blonde? And this alone cost some $160 for the “specialty ombré effect”. Then the undercut design. Y’all just LOOK AT IT. I was told I had a cowlick swirl on the bottom of my neck hairline, so she’d have to improvise. Just say you can’t do it. What I was given can not even be misconstrued as a professional attempt. Then the actual front/side cuts of my hair. I came in wanting a cool rocker chic look, and I left with a fat mom Karen haircut.
You know how when you leave the hair salon after getting work done; and usually other stylists would comment about how great it looks? My hair was done so poorly that I could see the stone faced grimaces of the other stylists. I have not gotten ONE compliment on my hair since coming to Heath Hair Salon & Spa. The comments I got on my current hair have left me MORTIFIED “yikes”, “aw honey don’t worry you can get it redone!”, “did you try to do the design on the back of your head yourself?”.
Look at the pictures. You be the judge.
To top it off the hair stylist who did this to my hair, Valerie G. Made a point to call and leave a nasty voicemail dropping me as a customer because I ghosted her appointment (after the embarrassing fiasco you gave me? I wish I had the confidence to come up there and speak to the owner, show her the pictures and demand my money back. I’ll never come back.) Then she proceeded to add me on my private social medias....
Read moreTerrible experience. I had a 12:15 appointment for a simple half up/half down style and to have my own extensions put in — nothing complicated. When I got there, I was told the stylist (Graciela) was running 30 minutes late. No big deal at first… but then they switched me to another stylist Louisa, who clearly didn’t know how to properly put in extensions.
I had to keep reminding them I had a wedding to get to in Little Elm at 4pm (an hour away!), and was told that the wedding wasn’t going to start without me like, the stylist Louisa knew. The lead stylist even had to step in to try to fix things. I didn’t walk out of there until 2:38pm — almost 2.5 hours later — stressed and running late.
To top it all off, initially when I booked my appointment was told $54, but they charged me full price. No makeup service, no discount, no apology. For a salon that claims to do professional event styling, this was beyond disappointing. I won’t be coming back and wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone needing reliable,...

I had my hair done by Ramie. I paid 250 dollars for my hair to look nothing like what I asked for. It is so splotchy that I do not want to even go in public, I’m so embarrassed. She darkened my hair when I wanted to go lighter, to make it lighter she said I will have to pay more to fix it, but if I wanted to go even darker I wouldn't have to pay. I would have NEVER gone here if I knew my hair would be ruined. This was my first time getting my hair done and it was the worst experience ever. I was talking about my hair when a stranger asked if I had got it done professionally and was appauled by how much I paid versus what...
