The employees were very friendly and helpful. We were able to rent a tandem kayak for the day, the kayak was higher end but also a little pricey. They gave us a dry bag to use for the day which was greatly appreciated! If you drop in by the shop you’re about 4 miles away from the sandbar, but you’re able to transport the kayak if you can. Pricey but worth it....

Had a great time renting two paddle boards for myself and significant other. We called, dropped in, and were off in hardly any time at all. Took us 2 hrs of paddle-boarding to find the southern sand bars however, so possibly drive if you're looking for that section. The launch area out back is plenty pretty and easy...
