Visiting from out of state, stopped by at noon on a Sunday, very basic and no frills bowling alley with a bar and deli. Smaller and more compact than many other bowling alleys but the facility is clean, organized and not cluttered. One lane of bowling for one hour including shoe rental was $33.00. Bowled 7 games so came out to $4.71 a game.
Facility has clean restrooms with baby changing tables in both, water fountain with plastic cups by the bar, non cluttered bowling pit area. Employees were friendly and appeared well staffed. Alley balls were in very good condition unlike 99% of the other bowling alleys I've been to across America. And they are easy to differentiate on weight based on the color stripe painted on each one.
Patrons here were well behaved including the kids and nobody had any drama and all were having fun. Also never had to reset the lanes and once a ball got stuck until I bowled the second frame to send it on its way out. The pins do slide a LOT to the side, more than any other bowling alley I've...
Read moreBowling lane is really nice, but the owners seem to be super greedy. For some reason you can't do reservations even for a large party. Heaven forbid someone shows up to save a spot (for a large party) the owners will start your time immediately. They also feel the need to not give you control of your lane either so if you are waiting for your party and you start bowling (with however they have decided to setup the lanes because that's also out of your control) then there is no way to end the game for when the rest of your party shows up. Also on our last game, one of our people had a single frame left to bowl (with no one waiting) and instead of being a human, the lady just ends it so the last person didn't get to finish. All in all still fun, but I would consider hiring some better customer service representatives if your business is to provide a fun experience to people, there is just no reason to be like the lady they have working...
Read moreI really enjoyed Sleeping Giant Lanes! It was very well maintained and very clean. The machines were quick at setting up the pins and returning the bowling ball so we could play without much waiting! The panel to put in names and stuff was very easy to use and straightforward. The cost seemed fair too, I think it was around $40 for an hour including shoe rentals. One of the workers was even kind enough to give us a few more minutes to let us finish our second game, without us even asking them! Overall it was very sleek, clean,...
