Stumbled across this very small store while I was just driving around. It takes you back a few years to when the Mom and Pop neighborhood convenience stores existed. Inside, there's a freezer case with some unusual contents for a small neighborhood grocer...different kinds of homemade Gumbo are what caught my eye. The prices are a little steep but when you get it home, you won't be disappointed. The roux is a little lighter than I like my seafood gumbo but the flavor is spot on and it definitely is NOT lacking in content. Blue crab, snow crab, shrimp, scallops...it was delicious and I'll definitely go back for more...The best I've had outside of Houston. WHAT...
