I shop at Compare once or twice a month, as a reward to myself. No, really! It's like a world bazaar in there to me. Lots of stuff I don't see elsewhere, and can't get anywhere else. I learned to love chili-powdered watermelon lollys, just because I'm always willing to try something different.

You can cash a check or pay a bill at Compare, and they provide all kinds of service to the underbanked at reasonable rates.

My dream for them is to convert the back corner of the store into a web studio, and do online cooking demos. They look at me like I am CRAZY every time I mention it, but I don't buy much meat at Compare because I don't know how to prepare it. I would really love to see local women learn to use Google Hangouts to demonstrate authentic Latin cooking methods online!

I did not visit this store This review is purely based on how impressed my SISTER was on her visit to this location. I'm also very impressed based on her experience and photos of this location. Relocating from the Charlotte area, there weren't high expectations of the store going in. However, my sister said this location SMELLED GOOD (honestly, a first in our opinion), was clean, organized and had friendly service. She even stopped to share this with the manager and discovered how small the world actually is.

I go there to get purchase small chicken wings because they are great and have a decent price. However, the owners were very rude!! When I gave him an $100.00 and asked for a receipt of my purchase, he began to say " You don't deserve a receipt!! Your money is fake!! And began to talk very loud to his Hispanic co workers.Of course, I demanded my receipt and walked out after he threw the receipt.I have always worked very hard for my money!! And I will certainly will not spend it there ever again!!!!.....FYI....IF IT WASN'T FOR YOUR CONSUMERS YOU WOULDN'T AN INCOME COMPARE FOOD.......
