I honestly cannot say enough wonderful things about Nikki. I found her originally from a maternity shoot she did for a professional photographer friend of mine. I usually pay extra close attention to the services my friends use when they're also in that line of work. They turned out so beautiful that I decided to take a peek at her website, saw her style of photography, and immediately requested to join her Facebook VIP group for news and announcements. Such an awesome decision! I had wanted to do a family session, my daughter's cake smash, and a mommy and me session ... but instead ended up purchasing a lot of future sessions with her. From the beginning, Nikki has been just the friendliest, easiest-going professional. I have a pretty anti-social baby so its amazing to have someone so calm and patient. We don't get a lot of smiling shots of my baby, but that's not Nikki's fault (my daughter is stranger-danger happy due to being born during COVID-times) - she does her best and I think the photos are absolutely breath-taking. We'll cherish them no matter the year/season. She takes classic-style, boho-inspired photos which I like. I'd hate to have a photo that you could immediately identify as taken in the 2020s due to a fad/current trend. In my experience, she's pretty responsive and relatively easy to get a hold of but I'm aware that she sometimes can't immediately message back due to being a busy photographer with lots of clients on top of having a family. Due to crazy Vegas weather this year (and my baby got sick), we've had to reschedule a few of our sessions but she's always been really cooperative and understanding. Her dates do fill up fast though so its best to be a little flexible also but I truly believe she does her best to accommodate her clients if she can. She has a great assortment of props and a client closet that makes me wish I was pregnant again so I could do a maternity session too! Her photo turnaround time is pretty quick from our sessions and they always turn out so magical. I've actively been trying to be in more photos post-partum so that my daughter has photos of all of us as she gets older (and not just my photos I take of her). I have used Nikki for family photos, my son's senior pictures, and most recently a boudoir shoot and she never fails to amaze me with her talent! For my family pics she had to make sure she got all 12 of us looking good and she did! Even with my nieces and nephews wanting to do their own thing, she was so good with the kids she magically made it work and they have been treasured memories on all of our walls every since. My son's senior pics I can't even put into words how perfect they are, they captured who he is and she listened to what I was looking for and we did two locations to get every shot we were looking for. My son has been graduated for two years now and we still get compliments on how amazing these pics are (Happy to share with anyone thinking about using her and have questions). Now for the most recent and the ones I was most nervous about the boudoir photos... She instantly put me at ease and made me feel comfortable. I don't think I am naturally sexy and was nervous it would show in the photos but I recently lost a ton of weight and wanted to celebrate my new body. She instructed me on how to pose and never once made me feel uncomfortable in my skin. If anything as the shoot went on I felt sexier by the moment. I am so happy I choose Nikki and to be honest she is the only photographer I'll use for everything. The photos speak for themselves and her customer service skills and professionalism for her business is one of a kind. I used Nikki for 6 month photos for my daughter. They turned out great. It’s very hard to get her to commit to a date and time and she is not very responsive. Judging by how great the pictures turned out, I decided to give her a second chance for my daughter’s 1 year photos. Which were purchased October 30th 2020 and needed to be booked in December. Yesterday we committed to the date and a 3:00pm meeting time at Floyd Lamb Park. She was there with her kids and husband and had messaged me at 2:45pm saying it was windy. I did not see the message as I was driving and didn’t think to check my phone once I arrived. I was getting my daughter out of her car seat to than look up and see her driving off. She made up an excuse as to why she had to leave and wasn’t the least bit empathetic. I had to check my Facebook messenger at that point to see what the heck was going on. A professional photographer with the least bit of professionalism would have apologized, offered a full refund no issues, or to reschedule and make it up to the customer, nothing. Instead she will not refund even after the fact that I drove all the way there, paid the park entrance fee ect.
