This shop and the owner of this shop is amazing! My spouse and I cannot rave enough about the talent and furniture that comes out of this studio. When we first moved to Asheville we went to check out Country Home Rustics to furnish our home, and after being given a tour of the live edge pieces that were available we ended up selecting a coffee table and dining room table tops. Then the design process started, and we discussed table proportions, preferences, and preparations with the team, and we direct shipped them our custom table legs to add on. Throughout the process the team was very communicative and helpful in our decision making. Dane and Ryan were super helpful! FYI bring a packed lunch, you’ll be there a while, the slabs in the workshop are amazing. I’ve visited several places to find the perfect slab, they have the most interesting inventory to choose from, added bonus, they are a one stop shop as they are a turnkey operation. They take the time to answer all your questions and add additional non-solicited information you thought you’d never need but you’re glad they did. I thought this purchase was going to be a “one-off”, but when my wife saw what I brought home, she already tasked me to get additional pieces. It’s so rare these days to come across a business that cares about the consumers interest as they do. We purchased a table from Country Home Rustics several months ago and finally got chairs made to match from Heartland Amish Furniture. We could not be more pleased with the look! Our table was made from a piece of Maple from a 200 year old downed tree in Hendersonville (as we understand) and we were able to see all available slabs in their showroom, to pick the perfect piece. We were also able to pick out the finish. While we were there, we picked out a “cookie” to be made into a coffee table. Once home, we went online to Flowyline to pick out legs for both, purchased them and had them shipped directly to Dane and Ryan. About a month later, we picked up both tables!
