Louis Williams & Sons — Local services in Hendersonville

My wife and I went here quite awhile back to get some things and they were great.. Yesterday I called and inquired about a small space heater and he was as helpful as best as he could be over the phone and suggested l come by, I stated that my wife was on her way home and would swing by. When she arrived and went in the store one gentleman was standoffish while the other gentleman behind the counter made no attempt to assist her and in fact kind of gave her a disapproving look??? The only reason we could come to an agreement on for their behavior is because she is black.... now don't think we are pulling out the old race card because we are not.. I'm a 59 year old white male my wife is quite a few years younger than myself but we both live with the same standard we ALL bleed red!!! I may be only one customer they loose but they have..And to think that before my wife got there I commented to her about admiring the effort of this store has to keep fighting the big guys and that we owe them some business to help their endeavor....all I have left to say is...

GREAT hardware store! Friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff willing to answer questions and explain how things work. I suppose that if you need it, they probably have it... Or can get it. Their supply of mobile home parts is outstanding and continues to grow. I needed a new furnace for a mobile home and they had it in stock and ready for pickup. Wonderful shop with incredible service! I came to pick up something for a friend, Sam was the most amazing man!! Not only did he help me carry the items to my car but he even gave me a Werther’s original before walking away and blessing me and my day.
