This is a nice place and in a nice area, and we've enjoyed living in the new apartments that just went up last year, for the most part. The amenities are nice (pool, hot tub, clubhouse, gym, wifi), and it's cool how they do a lot of events for the residents. Putting in a maintenance request and getting problems addressed has been easy (common with new apartments) -- the maintenance is good.

However, there's a couple things that I think management could address.

First of all, this property is advertised as a non-smoking property and every resident signs a non-smoking addendum. I've seen a lot of cigarette butts and boxes around the main lobby doors and around the property in general. The main lobby, elevator, and even hallways reek of smoke on a daily basis. I've complained to management about this, but it seems like their solution is to have the maintenance guys pick up the cigarette trash instead of reminding the residents via email or posted signs that this is a non-smoking property. I've seen no such announcements, so I doubt the smokers have either.

Secondly, the hallways and stairwells inside the buildings never seem to be cleaned. There's often trash/crumbs that just accumulate. The valet trash rules don't seem to be enforced, as residents leave trash in the hallways that is either during non-collection hours or not within the valet trash requirements. This results in the hallways smelling of garbage.

I get that you can't force people to do things, but you can remind the community of the standards, and that is where I'd like to see an increase of effort from management.

Overall, the property has the potential to be excellent, but the things I mentioned above are below expectations for what I'd expect from a higher end place like this. For me, that's the difference between 5 stars and 3.5 stars in terms of getting your...

When I first moved in this place was great, it was brand new and I was one of the first residents. Within the last year things have gone extremely downhill. I believe they were purchased by Greystar and ever since then it’s been a nightmare. Last summer I went 6 weeks without AC because they kept telling me it was fixed when they actually hadn’t done anything and then they would take another several days to respond to my requests each time. Now I’ve had a pending work order for the heater being out for almost a month. Probably the most egregious however is that in the process of trying to get them to fix my heater they left my apartment door wide open for an entire day (I was staying with a friend as I didn’t have any heat). When I got home and realized this I immediately called the office and let them know of the issues, I even went in to speak to someone in person and let them know I no longer feel safe in my apartment as I have no way of knowing who may have been in my apartment after they left it open. They weren’t all that concerned that they had violated my safety and when I let them know I would like to move out because of all of their mishandling of these issues they said that there’s no way they can make any exception on the lease buy out fee and I now have to pay almost $3000 to get out of living in this unsafe and frankly, irresponsible apartment complex. At first moving in the staff was great working with me a helping me get in but, once we moved in everything changed. For starters my apartment was not cleaned before we moved in and was completely covered in dust. The kitchen floor was cracked and 2 months later still has not been fixed. Along with other stuff. There are full on parties in the pool area every single weekend with tons of people. You can hear the music blasting every night from the buildings farther away. People have their dogs swim in the pool (there was literal dog poop in the pool) as well as trash and glass everywhere when I went in and reported it nothing was done not even an email. I even showed and sent them pictures. You can smell weed 24/7 coming from multiple apartments. There is dog poop everywhere. Not to mention when I signed my lease agreement I was told 8 weeks were free and not even 8 weeks later they tried to charge me a late fee for the rent. I tried calling at least 20 times and you can’t get a hold of anyone and have to go into the office to get any help.

Update: Nothing has been done to change any of the problems. There has been diarrhea sitting on the stairs for over a week and there has been more poop in the hot tub. This place is disgusting. I am counting down the days until my...
