Lilia at this branch fixed my phone in less than two minutes. I have an iphone 12 that started getting an SOS in upper corner. I took this phone to 4 att stores in california and they all blamed my problem on apple. So i had to pay Geek Squad in Best Buy to diagnose my phone. They charged me $40 and said my phone’s antennae was the problem and said it would cost me $530 to fix it. I paid them the $40 for the service fee and left the store. Next i went to Amazon to see how much an antennae was. I was shocked to see it was only $8. The previous att employees in California and in were also only interested in giving me a trade in value for my phone against a newer phone which also meant another 2 yr contract. I took my phone to Lilia at Hibbings ATT store and she just smiled and said your phone is fixed. She just did an Esim download on the phone and i was good to go. The lesson here is simple. Sometimes people just see you as an easy target to money grab you and aren’t interested in saving you money. Don’t always believe what someone tells you especially when they can make a buck off you I hope Lilia gets a raise and recognition for her wonderful...
Read moreI had the unfortunate experience of using this store when my phone broke when I was away from home. I requested an upgrade, but instead the ATT rep added a line, which caused numerous extra costs to me to get my billing fixed. The rep also added Home Tech Protection to my bill, which was not requested by me. After numerous calls to ATT and several visits to a local ATT store, I was told that I would need to go back to the original store to correct it, which is 200 miles away from my home. I was able to get back to this Hibbing store a month later, and was helped by a very kind sales rep, who recognized my demise and the huge mistake his colleague made. BUT, I was told I would need to pay a $55 restock fee to correct taking the extra line off and to return the phone so that I could get the upgrade and correct their original mistake. I was told to call 611 and ask ATT to credit me the restock fee. I did, and was told that restock fees need to be waived at the point of sale. So, again, I feel this store was deceptive in their motives and would say "Buyer beware! " if you are walking into this store for help with your...
Read moreWent to the AT&T store in Hibbing on 4-3-24 with recent problem on our phones, and we ultimately bought 2 new Samsung Galaxy Flip phones. The gal who helped us was wonderful, her name was Lilia. We got a survey at home and I accidentally hit the wrong choice extremely bad, and I thought it was extremely satisfied. It happened so quick and was unable to correct it. On Thursday the 11th, about 2:00 -3:00, we went back to the store to send in our old phones and have some questions answered first. The guy who helped us was not willing or able to help us or answer our questions. Unfortunately we didn’t get his name. In the past, all the girls who worked there went out of their way to help, more than the guys would, but now we find out this store isn’t corporate anymore, and have heard others complain too. One employee told our friend they only sell phones they don’t service them. We have been a customer of AT&T for 12 years, and maybe we shouldn’t send back our old phones now. For the money these cost, I can’t believe this new...
