Dairy Queen Store — Restaurant in Hibbing

manager very rude.... I usually go when 2nd Shift is working and all the workers are very nice and respectful, I get my shakes the way I ask for them, which is 2 strawberry shakes one w/wipe cream the other w/cheese cake square, strawberry and extra strawberry. (there truly wasn't a problem with that until I went while first shift was on today) I don't mind paying for the extra. usually I'll give a tip but not today. ) honestly I felt the old bt* was racist she was very rude and if she's the manager she SHOULDN'T BE!!!!! I went back on 2nd Shift and the nice young lady said their Manager said that they couldn't put the extra in my shake. very poor customer service(she argued with me about giving me my money back. I've worked customer service and the customer is always right) but not here in Hibbing mn, most are very racist. and I wouldn't recommend any one to this dairy queen I'd tell ppl to drive the 30 mins to Virginia or grand rapids. a friend was meeting me there and said he had a problem with that same woman. Growing up this was a summertime staple so it's unfortunate tonight was the last time that I will ever patronize this business.  It's a seasonal location and usually staffed with kids home for the summer; however and unfortunately this year the owners are also the workers.

Ordered three items and asked for one large cup with some ice to place a smaller item in for a long drive.  Female owner hastily hands me a bag of ice and I ask if I can also have a cup.  She literally tosses the cup out the window and yells that I am holding up the drive through - I was not.

I was actually waiting for my credit card to be returned to me by the very slow boy working the cash register.  I told him I was not holding up the register and the male owner literally lunged out the window verbally assaulting me.  I promptly drove to Lowes and threw the items away and have notified corporate that their franchisee thinks attempted assault is an appropriate response to a request for a cup.

If you're craving DQ, go to Virginia.  It's cleaner and has better service.  Avoid...

Absolutely atrocious attitude from the old lady working there. Walked up to the door with my two disabled clients as we did not want to go through the drive though with 3 separate payments. there is only 1 single standard piece of paper on the front window (not even on the door) stating that the lobby is closed, that I say after looking for it. As we were walking away an old lady unlocked the door, and said "lobby's closed" in a very angry tone, then looked at a vehicle parked on the street and made aggressive pointing gestures to the store, the driver of the vehicle got out and started walking toward her when the old lady (with extreme attitude) said "you've got a pick up?" The customer said yes and the employee hardly let her finish the word before admonishing her "it's like this for everyone! Come on!" And brought her...
