College Village Shopping Center — Local services in High Point

This strip mall is small, but the stores and restaurant it does have are all ones I would recommend. This mall has a Food Lion grocery store, a nail salon, a beauty supply store, which, as an aside, is my favorite, even over better-known chains. It is owned by some local Korean ladies who are fantastically helpful and will take you directly to whatever you need, no matter how random. On top of a very large choice of hair and beauty supplies, they also carry jewelry, including body piercing jewelry and even a small selection of shoes, which are cute! I adore College Village shopping center! I am 59 years old and have grown up going there! I remember where there was a eckerd's there with a soda fountain and my mom would shopping eckerd's while my my brother and I would get fried honey buns and Cherry Coke while she shopped. Now it's just Chuck full of wonderful places to go.... Goodwill, Food Lion, Dollar General, and so many other places to explore there. I could just make a day of it.
