We purchased 2 fireplaces from Espey Hardware for our new construction home. Our builder installed both. Our outdoor fireplace did not seem to be operating properly, but our builder said it was working correctly. We were very disappointed and figured we'd made a big mistake by getting it as we were afraid to use it. I reached out to Dustin at Espey with questions, and when I sent him a video of how it was operating he immediately said to turn it off and not use it. Much to my surprise he came out the next day to fix it. It now operates beautifully, and we thoroughly enjoy using it. Dustin was extremely helpful from our first visit to pick out the fireplaces until our last encounter when he personally came to our house to fix the one that was not installed correctly. It's ok, if you know exactly what you need/want but if you're wanting to browse around, you're going to the wrong place. It feels kind of small and cramped inside and when the staff ask if you need help with anything and you reply "you're just looking" you're going to get some funny looks. A friend told me they have some unique tools/gadgets, so I stopped by there to check out what all they had and I must say it was one of the most uncomfortable and awkward experiences I have have ever had. These guys were extremely helpful and knowledgeable in fixing me up with the right chimney stuff I needed for the woodstove I installed in my mobile home. They carry top-of-the-line stuff and keep everything in stock year-round! They gave installation tips and even gave me a little discount at checkout. You might save a dollar trying to order stuff from the internet, but I recommend visiting these guys in person.
