Finally, a furniture store that has exceptional customer service! I had called to inquire about stock I saw online and was asked my name. Mind you, no one ever remembers my name. When I walked into the store, I was greeted by Kyra - who I spoke with on the phone - and she remembered my name, already a point in my book. Kyra was so friendly, she really listened to what my husband and I were looking for, found us options in the measurements we needed and did not upsell us - she gave us time to look around and checked up on us. Mind you, we went to MOR furniture, Ashley furniture. Lazy boy and JR furniture months before this visit at banner and I could barely get an employee to make eye contact with me. Kyra made our entire shopping experience smooth - she gave us shipping dates, color options and even let me move the couches around on the sales floor so I could see what it would look like in our living room. We bought new couches before we left - we had the option for same day delivery (wow!) but we were there later in the day and had our own trailer. Yes, we got a discount on the already lowered price, but it wasn’t the reason why we bought - it was because of Kyra and her wonderful customer service. Having been in retail management for over 16 years, Kyra has been one of the few that has exceeded my expectations. The set we bought is incredibly comfortable, too! Thank you to Kyra for really treating us well - my husband and I were impressed with her service. * The only reason for 4/5 stars - I saw an employee by the back exit to the outside furniture sitting on merchandise on the sales floor (a recliner couch). Read moreBanner Furniture has been our place to purchase furniture for our home for over 30 years now. The prices have always been the lowest in town and the customer service is the greatest. Recently we were part of the most gracious, understanding, and heartwarming customer service experience. I'm a disabled person and have a hard time getting around. My lift chair needed to be replaced so off to Banner I went to look for a replacement. They had a nice variety to choose from, but the chair I really wanted was on order and would be several weeks before it came in. I could not wait that long so I picked out a chair I felt would work and they delivered it that same day. I enjoyed the new chair for a day but came to the realization that it was not the chair for me. I called Banner the day after purchasing the chair and told them the bad news. They were completely happy to work with me and got me into another chair. They didn't give me any hassle what so ever. They allowed me to pick out another chair and even delivered it that same day. I wasn't even charged a restock fee. I went along for a few days trying to get used to my new chair. Things just got worse instead of better. The chair was making me hurt worse then I normally do. I called Banner Furniture again to inquire about when those other chairs would be in. I never expected them to do what they did. They said we don't want you to have to deal with a chair that hurts you so when the chair comes in we will deliver that chair to you and take the one hurting you back. Again no restocking fee. Just pay the difference between the chairs. Talk about AMAZING customer service. Banner Furniture Is top of the list for me. Great selection, low prices, great customer service and quality work. Read moreSHOP ONLINE!!!! I had been shopping online the night before I came into the store. I had narrowed my options down to a few sleeper sofas but wanted to see them in person. The staff was helpful and listened to my needs. I was able to decide on one that was "on clearance" priced at $799. I was given free delivery as a perk for being an Intel employee. I felt good about the purchase-- until I got home. I checked my email and saw that a sales representative had responded to my online inquiry and the email said that the price of the exact sofa I had bought was only $699. I called the store and asked about it because I was obviously charged $100 more than the online price. They were willing to give me the online price but I was informed that the delivery would no longer be for free. I accepted the new price because it was still $50 less. One would think that the "clearance" price would be the same as an online price or less expensive. The representative informed me that "online shoppers are given the lowest prices, because we know they shop around." I felt taken advantage of. I was called back 15 minutes after that and informed that delivery would be free after all.
