It sucks, I seem to only ever pop on to here to post negative reviews but for reference, I only ever post a negative review when it was THAT bad.
Went through earlier this evening and ordered dinner for my family. Among the order was a chicken sandwich, grilled instead of breaded with no tomatoes and add cheese (#6 on the menu). Got everything and headed home. Once home passed out everything and discovered my sandwich was wrong (wrong bun, no cheese and there was a tomato), there weren't many fries, and they were cold. This after having to drive around and wait forever for them to bring out the order.
This happens all the time at this location, but I was in a hurry to get home and didn't check this time around. So I headed back to request a remake, and the person at the order screen was very snippy with me, arguing that the sandwich comes with a different type of bun than shown if grilled is requested (which I only mentioned the bun because I thought they had given me literally a different sandwich and I wanted to make sure they knew what I wanted) but to pull up. When I got there, a young guy (not older than 25 at most) with medium length (around 4 inches) black hair took my bag and receipt and asked what was wrong. I explained it all, and the only reply he gives me is he snickers and asks "how do I know if you weren't given many fries or if you just ate them?"
At that point I was fed up. Demanded my refund and the number for the franchise owner. He replied that they don't give that out and that the replacement was ready. I again asked for a refund. He again said that the food was ready. I said I didn't care to eat it with him acting like that, and then I asked to speak to his general manager, and he replied that he was one of the managers. I again asked to speak to his manager, and he said that they didn't have a general manager and that he was one of the three managers. I asked him his name and he said Josh. He gave me $7 back and I drove away.
I don't know who that was, if he was a manager, or if any of the info he gave me was real, but holy cow. I try really hard to be understanding of service workers like this, but that was...
Read moreDairy Queen has always been a favorite of mine growing up and continued as an adult. I don't blame this location for getting rid of the Ultimate Burger, but this location specifically has to be the worst one in Oregon. Now before anyone questions the legitimacy of this review, these are problems they have had pre-covid, not just now. As someone mentioned in a previous review, the line in the afternoons is always out to the street, so it is not that they are not making money, but rather it seems that the owners/franchisees are not putting any money into it.
Common problems: gravy in the strip basket is almost never warm If you walk in, don't expect to be acknowledged or seen for some time. Seems like the drive through is the focus Order is wrong half the time, and if you want to get it fixed, see point #2 above.
Today's adventure consisted of the following
Gravy - cold again Plain cheeseburger kids meal - cheeseburger not plain, bun is hard Blizzard - pretty much a milkshake. Aren't they supposed to flip it over to show you how thick it is? Iced tea - still included the tea (see the included picture). Not a pleasant thing to take a mouthful of.
Now the reason I am writing this review, is for two reasons. First to let people know that if you want great Dairy Queen, this one is not the place. Second, when we called them back for resolution, we were met with resistance the whole time. Asked to speak to a manager, apparently there is no manager. Asked for a refund for the amount of issues, told we need to come in to get cash. The excuse we got was that they were short staffed. I am generally graceful when it comes to that, because I would rather a place be slow than shut down, but I don't think short staffed means poor quality. I think it just shows a lack of caring. Maybe its the attitude of the employees, maybe they don't feel respected, and I can get that, but overall this place needs an...
Read moreQuality has dropped tremendously in the last few weeks. The first visit was good, had a $5 mini blizzard combo meal that tasted pretty good as far as fast food goes. However I had to pull around to wait for an extended period of time and then they forgot my drink and napkins. The guy was cool enough to volunteer to super size it though. So all was well and I decided to swing back by and try the combo again. Again I had to pull around and wait while two other cars drove by, which I assume was for dilly bars or something. Apparently they made it fresh or so it seems. When they eventually came out, they again forgot my napkins. Oh well big deal right? When I got home and unwrapped my burger I almost broke my tooth on the stale bun. I try not to be picky and just ate it without the buns. So a while passes and I think to myself that maybe it was just because I had gone earlier and there was a shift of slackers or something. So I went once more... Again had to wait out front, no napkins, and then what prompted me to actually write this review was when I opened the razor sharp box and looked at my burger. It looked like it was soaked in grease and then immediately thrown onto the bun. It was disgusting to look at. Both sides laden with grease, pouring out of the patty when you try to pick it up. Even after this I was starving so I tossed the bread and tried to eat my burger without the bread .... to no surprise the lettuce and tomatoes were rancid. I was actually not able to eat the damn thing. And I am no picky eater. Eat here if you want but I wouldn't...
