Highland County Fairgrounds — Local services in Hillsboro

Had a good time visiting the merchant buildings, seeing the horses and a horse shows. As always the demolition derby was fun to watch and so was the Auto cross. Admission is $10. Sandwiches are high priced but understandable with today's grocery prices, although yesterday we ate at the 4H building and I had a great chef salad for $6. Total waste of time and money especially if you have kids for the second year in A row they do not have actual fair rides. I do not understand why Highland County Fair dies more every year and Brown County Fair grows. Obvious signs of mismanagement and financial difficulties within the fair. Smaller Fair, but I'm from Brown County, and it's enormous. Love the rodeo! 🐎 A few great food vendors and loads of animals for kids to see.
