I went to CVS to get a bottle of Zyrtec. When I arrived in the allergy medicine aisle, I knew that these types of meds would be locked in a case.
I approached the pharmacy counter. I noticed there were 6 around 6 people behind the counter. They looked as if there was a combination of pharmacists and techs who seemed to be laughing and joking about something. But seeing that there weren't any customers, I thought it would be easy to ask for assistance.
The tech told me to press the red button, and someone would come to unlock it. He went back to conversing with his colleagues. I pressed the button. No one came. I pressed the button. No one came. I waited for around 10-15 minutes and left. As I was leaving, I noticed an employee putting up sales tags. The second employee was in the front trying to help a few customers. Someone had to have heard the bell.
I understand that stores are short on help. But I have asked someone from the pharmacy in other locations to me to get meds out of the cabinet if they weren't busy. And guess what? They have. I will stick to going to my CVS nearby where I get better...
Read moreThe CVS pharmacy in Hillsborough has a treasure of an employee. She’s been there a year or so and is so unbelievably efficient. She understands how the pharmacy runs & is efficient when helping multiple people. I’ve seen her help the pharmacist, answer the phone and work the counter dealing with the customers directly. She never seems to get flustered & if problems or questions arise she gets the proper person/answer for the person. She’s very good at taking care of multiple people if questions arise and is able to keep the check out process moving while the issue is resolved. People are always in a hurry & it’s tough to keep them happy. I’m not criticizing the remainder of the staff just recognizing her for the way she goes about her job. Her name is FARYAL and should be recognized for the great job she does for your pharmacy in place where people usually don’t feel well & tempers are often on a short fuse.

Read moreIf you have the unfortunate luck to have your prescriptions called in Transfer them IMMEDIATELY! I had all of my mother’s prescriptions sent to another cvs specifically because of the employee named Cynthia M . The absolute most unprofessional, ignorant, condescending person I have met . Speaks over you , yells and hangs up on you because she does not have the skills or the patience to speak in a calm professional manner. After speaking to her supervisor …I was told “well no one is applying to work here” how very sad That the only reason they Keep Cynthia M. as an employee, even with her poor behavior, is because no one else wants to work at this store.
This review is just the start of how far I am taking this complaint . No one should have to be treated the way Cynthia M....
