Dollar General — Local services in Hobart Township

This is the only "Dollar" anything store I will shop at. I actually broke up with someone who took me to a different one when I asked for a ride to the Dollar store. I knew it would never work, just by that! I like their Dollar General brand of items. They are just as good as the name brands. I use my DG app and get my coupons ready for my big shopping trip, usually on Saturday so I can save that extra $5.00 And, I love the convenience of running in during the week to grab the milk or bread or whatever I need. I never want to go to the big box store with the huge parking lot and too many aisles and never an employee to help you find something.☹️ Dollar General employees are always available to help and are always kind hearted. I am handicapped, but you cannot tell that I am in pain by looking at me. They have helped me load my groceries in my car on many occasions. The new store in Latrobe,PA is beautiful. If I could rate them they wouldnt get any stars. This is a racist dollar general location. The 1st register the worker was ringing the older man up. And they were chit chatting. So the manager took the white lady in front of me cuz I guess she saw how long the other cashier was taking. Once she rung her up on her register and sent her on her way. I thought she was going to ring us up next. No she didnt she walked away from her register and made us wait on the other lady at the register which was already taking too long. So if she thought the white lady time was precious so was mine. I only had 4 things in my hand .Why be rude and walk away instead of helping make the line longer. If I had to wait then the white lady shouldve also. No store with racist workers will ever...

This is my favorite branch for their selection, even though there are two others closer to me. I took off a star, because one of the last times I went shopping the cashier was wearing her mask on her chin only. She was standing right next to a sign that said masks must be worn at all times, while she processed the customer in front of me (who had a cart filled of items) and then myself with her nose and mouth exposed.
