Nastiest Papa John’s I’ve ever been too, Health inspector should Pay a visit as well as the owner, zero precautions for Covid. Even without Covid this place would be fined by the health department. No employee wears a mask, No signs about social distancing. Raw dough is left so close to the register If anybody paying for their food sneezes all pizzas are contaminated. No hello when I walk in, all employees looked miserable and avoid eye contact. First cashier simply looks at me and says (pizza not ready) then proceeded to stare at me, after five seconds I finally reply, (ok, are you going to tell me when it will be ready)? After that he checked on the pizza, the rest of my encounter with him was fairly normal. When the guy handed the pizza box to me he was unable to keep his hand straight so the box turned to almost a 90° angle, luckily it didn’t damage the pizza but I would imagine that type of handling causes lots of orders have to be remade. I also opted for soda which I purchased separately. Now enters employee number two. No hello, no nothing, he simply runs the transaction and halfway through he says (dude your a douche bag)! It was some sort of inside joke between him and employee number 1. Needless to say it was very unprofessional and very inappropriate. Pizza was good like any other Papa Johns. I watched one guy who turned out to be a delivery driver park sideways through a handicap spot for over 10 minutes come in and start packing pizzas. It appears all employees share duties of making pizza and running transactions, how could you possibly keep your hands clean if you’re doing all that! It amazes me they can stay in business with the unprofessional of there employees and lack of basic sanitation. They get 2 Stars simply because the pizza was up to par. Read moreUPDATED!!!! I ordered through doordash and didn't notice it was set up for me to pick my food up. I tried calling the store for faster cancelation. The woman who picked up already sounded angry, I asked her to cancel my order because I accidentally made it for pick-up. She said, "Don't worry, it always says pickup time.". I agreed with her and said that it had been set for pickup and not delivery and that it's showing me where to pick it up and instructions on what to do when I get my food and it didnt even ask for a tip towards the driver... she continued and said yeah it always does that... I'm already tired from working a 12hr shift... I told her with more tone and aggravation in my voice to cancel it cause it's set for pick-up, not delivery... and she insisted that it was getting picked up. I said ok whatever you say, bye. I went straight to the doordash app and asked a live rep if there was a delivery driver picking up my order. They had said, "No, it was marked for pickup." So no delivery driver will be delivering my food. I asked them to cancel the order and boom right away, they canceled it and credited me for the food I ordered. I ordered the same thing but for delivery, so we will see if they make a fresh pizza or give me my old order. This will be the last time I will order from Papa John's, I was going with something quick, close, and something I'm familiar with that I like. Never again, just because the customer was right, but was told they were wrong multiple times over.
UPDATE!!!! Doordash picked my food up, took 4 mins to deliver. Papa John's gave me my original order. Breadsticks cold and chewy like taffy, stuffed crust pepperoni pizza room temp. Yup, never getting food...
Read moreThis is a hard one for me because I love Papa John’s. I ordered a pizza today to matter fact. And one of the was supposed to be half cheese and the other half pepperoni and jalapeño. Whe th pizza came n we opened it it had jalapeño on the whole thing the reason I got half cheese was cause my grandson is a picky eater. I called the restaurant spoke to an employee who was very nice then to a manager who got on the phone and right away corrected the wrong for me and said she was gonna redo the pizza and send me out another one so I’m pretty sure she checked the order on the computer through the app that I sent The order in through and said she was gonna make another one and send it out to me. I thanked her so much and hung up the phone. Five minutes later I get a call from a different employee that is arguing with me that I ordered a pizza with jalapeño on the whole thing I went back into the app and I told her that I read the order off the app that I placed and it said what I ordered in a pizza I got is wrong so I told her don’t worry about it don’t make it I’ll no longer order pizza from them.
