I am rating Sheri and the regular McKennan’s pharmacy staff a full 5 stars. Despite taking on many new patients due to multiple nearby pharmacy closures, Sheri and her team continue to provide exceptional service. They manage the increased workload with professionalism, warmth, and patience—qualities that truly stand out for customers who depend on timely, reliable care.
While the lines and hold times can occasionally be long, I have never once felt rushed when it’s my turn. The staff always take the time to listen, answer questions, and make sure everything is handled correctly.
Today’s visit reminded me why I value this team so much. When I arrived to pick up my prescription, a visiting staff member—who mentioned she was not from this store—was rude, dismissive, and unwilling to have a brief conversation about a medication due next week. I only wanted to confirm whether it needed to be ordered ahead, hoping to save a call and reduce unnecessary follow-up later in the week. Her attitude was unprofessional and disheartening.
Fortunately, Sheri was there, and as always, she handled the situation with kindness, knowledge, and empathy. Even after having been off for a few days, she immediately knew what was needed and apologized for the poor experience—though she certainly didn’t need to.
Sheri and the regular McKennan’s pharmacy team consistently demonstrate professionalism, patience, and genuine care, even under pressure. They are the reason my family continues to rely on this pharmacy for all of our...
Read moreI had a disappointing experience on Saturday, June 28 at around 3 PM due to the behavior of a manager who came across as unprofessional, impatient, and quite rude. I want to clarify that my intention is not to offend any other staff members—this feedback is specific to one individual. While I was waiting in the pickup line, the manager noticed that all the registers were busy and temporarily opened the pickup counter to assist a customer in front of me. After helping that person, she abruptly closed the register and walked away, ignoring me completely. When I politely said, “Excuse me, I’m in line,” she responded with a harsh tone, saying, “I’m not a cashier, I’m the manager.” I explained that I wasn’t trying to make a purchase—I was simply there to pick up an order, which is why I was in that line. Realizing her mistake, she returned to the counter, asked for name, and handed me my order in a very dismissive and impolite manner. I was genuinely shocked by her attitude. In my opinion, she lacks the basic communication and customer service skills expected of someone in a managerial role. I strongly recommend that the store’s general manager provide her with additional training, as her current approach does not reflect the professionalism this...
Read moreThis was the worse experience I had with Walgreens. Today I went to this particular Walgreens and I bought my receipt in there to return my items. The young lady was so pleasant and really trying to help and then she said she had to call the mgr up to assist and that even though it wasn’t going through i may have to take a gift card. I was okay with that because I always shop at Walgreens. So the assistant manager Ian comes up and he scan the receipt he said oh it won’t take the receipt, I said I am aware of that and that’s why she called you up here. He then gave me the receipt back and said it’s nothing we could do and I said wait what do you mean let me speak to the general manager he then said he’s not here and will not be back tomorrow. Ihe then added oh we do t have to take.anything back and walked away. I was disgusted and appalled and I kindly walked out and stated that I will contact everyone until I get my money back. I will never go to that walgreen and will kindly tell everyone to not go to that Walgreens with the nasty assistant manager Ian. The sad thing is I am a escalation manager and to experience this was...
