Hoisington Recreation Center — Local services in Hoisington

This is a great place for school sports. There are extremely reasonably-priced activities for kids through this Rec Center. There's a fairly nice machine weight area and freeweight area for an extra small, monthly fee. Basketball are available for use after school hours and if no activities are taking place on the gym floor, and they have racquetball rooms as well. $5 lifetime membership for Hoisington residents or those who have children. Cheap child care while adults visit the facility, although most of the time there realy isn't anyone there to watch, as they're volunteers, I believe. In the many places around the country to which I've lived and been, very few have something like this to offer their residents.
