Phillips County Event Center — Local services in Holyoke

We are full-time rvers and we have had a good deal of luck staying at fairgrounds, some where just a crash overnight and then hit the road in the morning. This fairground was a safe and comfortable place to stay, $25 fee but we also have electric hookup. We arrived just after it had closed and they have an easy self-pay station.There was a very large and very nice children's park with jungle gym and turf, locals came there with their children. Didn't visit the Event Center, but there's a great campground at this county park complex. It could be challenging if there's lots of rain, though. Also, a few campsites need replacement sewer caps, but we appreciated finding a full hook-up RV site for $25! Beautiful little park at the edge of the parking area. Immaculately clean. Great people working there. The 4h kids are always treated with the utmost kindness and respect. The arena is large, spacious, and always kept as clean as it could be. It's well maintained. The park is great. Fair is always a great time in...
