I was craving for some homemade BBQ and couldn’t find any spots in Denver so what do I do? Research and I found this hidden gem in the eastern plains so yes I drove nearly over 2 hours to go to this spot and the reviews did not disappoint and it was worth the drive too the brisket sandwich was very mouth watering and flavorful! I used to looove this place and would regularly order food and drive from Sterling to Holyoke to pick it up but the last 2 times I’ve eaten here the food, even the regular ribs, were entirely too spicy to eat. I felt like I wasted my money. Sadly, unless they dial back the heat and offer hot sauce on the side, I will no longer be frequenting this establishment. Great bbq place in Eastern Colorado. My husband and I shared a whole rack of ribs & tried their loaded corn bread. We were served our food in a timely manner. The place was tastefully decorated & very clean. Ribs were very tender & meat came off the bone great! Would definitely recommend to someone looking for a restaurant in Wray!
