Hard to find a flaw here - the host is amazing, location is world class, and you’ll soak in the views for days. When we first arrived there was an issue with our first cabin, they immediately attempted to fix it and when they couldn’t without hesitating moved us to a much nicer and larger cabin. Then when we had to move all our bags to another location we left 2 small ear rings from our kid and their maintenance staff drove them over to us. This is was best in class service is. The location is on a bluff overlooking the entire Kenai fiord national park, ocean, and views of the Aleutian Islands in the distance. It’s truly breathtaking. The rooms are super comfy, clean, and fresh. Each with small kitchenettes perfect for evening dinner.

Alaskan Suites are fabulous. We stayed 2 nites in mid Aug ‘21 & wish we’d planned for more. Gorgeous interior w vaulted knotty pine paneled ceiling. Fully appointed kitchenette w utensils for 6. Private porch overlooking the ocean w mountains beyond & wildflowers in your backyard w grill, table & chairs. Wow, what a value! Steve & Karen

This place was amazing. The cabins are spotless and well appointed, but the showstopper is the view off the deck. We were in Alaska 2 weeks and this is the only place we brought dinner back to our cabin and ate on the deck because nowhere else in town had a view that compared. I will stay absolutely nowhere else in Homer.

Beautiful, amazing scenery, we loved nearly everything about the place. Cabin is wonderful. Only a few small complaints, two were water related. First was the water in the cabin. It had an odor of fresh blood sprinkled with a hint of rust while you showered. Now I am used to funky water as I have lived up here for decades and well water generally is substandard, but I would have thought the owners would have run a filtration system.

The second issue was the hot tub. While it was hot, the jets didn't work at all. Giving it less of a Jacuzzi feel and more like a bug outdoor tub. That being said it didn't stop me from using it. One of my highlights of our stay was sitting out in the tub around 530 in the morning with just a pair of bald eagles to keep me company.

The cliff in the rear is very steep and closer to the back of the cabins than I realized. I would have been worrying constantly if I had brought young kids.

Finally it is very close to the highway. I mean right off of it. I was very worried about road noise but I he cabins are so well built that that wasn't an issue at all.

All and all this is an amazing place so stay. My wife and I loved our visit and will be staying there exclusively when we...

My wife and I stayed for two nights in mid May for her birthday. We couldn’t have asked for better hospitality or accommodations. I ordered flowers to surprise her (from a local florist) and they had them set up beautifully in our cabin. We found the cabin clean, cozy, and were met with breathtaking views of the inlet. During our stay, we were entertained by a paraglider that took launch off the cliff next our cabin. We enjoyed the new saltwater hot tub, the large smart tv with access to satellite and streaming apps. If that wasn’t enough, there was a DVD player (which wasn’t operating for us but we didn’t need it and I’m sure the issue was fixed). The cabin was stocked with coffees, Lipton tea, hot cocoa, microwave popcorn, and even oatmeal. We loved the gas fireplace, covered porch, plentiful towels, and comfy beds. It’s one of our new favorite AK...

The cabins are nice. The next day I left early to for a fishing charter, leaving my family behind to checkout. There was a payment issue through Booking.com. They called me at 9:20a, then again at 1:27p, 1:30p, 1:41p, 2:16p. Left several voicemails. Then also sent me 4 text messages to my personal number from multiple different numbers. The first simply saying this is winter and I owed them money, without any details about what the company was or what was owed. ||I also booked the reservation through Priceline. So wouldn’t disputes go through them. But wait, they also contacted them and I had 2 emails requesting me to pay them. ||How much is too much? When I got back to shore, I called Priceline to understand what I still owe, then called Alaskan Suites to make the payment needed. ||It’s one of the most unprofessional business situations I’ve...
