I've been to this place twice - first time for the gel manicure&pedicure, that was done so poorly, and rough, that gel was pealed off on some nails next day. But I've decided to give this place another chance and used another person when I made an appointment for the pedicure and eyebrows/lushes tint. I was waiting for 40 min even though I've made my appointment and there wasn't a line. It was simply poor communication between their front desk and the master. Then my experience continued and I was cut, during the pedicure, twice, actually, but second time I was bleeding pretty bad and hurt. The girl had apologized, and the manager gave me a bandaid and the discount at the end, but the whole experience was so horrible including the part that they can't provide eye lushes and eye brows service at the same time. Which I was explained that they can't train every person to do so. The stuff is poorly trained and instead of focusing on training people, they've decided to take on customers. On top of all they refuse wearing masks during our pandemic times. Oh, and the owner just called and I had another horrible communication! What a disaster. I took my wife for a consultation, Karen (The owner) listened to all of our concerns and answered all of our questions. The next day, Karen and 5 other woman went above and beyond to help my wife. I really wish I could remember what their names were unfortunately im really bad with names, but they know who they are. They went above and beyond! The knowledge each staff member had was absolutely amazing. They even want out of their way to try and teach me how to braid hair , even though I'm a guy and don't know much about hair besides how to wash it. They helped in every way possible to help her, answered all of our questions and to make her as comfortable as possible. They all wore masks becuase we asked if they could and they absolutely had no problem! If anyone is looking for a new hair stylist apple day is the way to go! The selflessness of Karen and all the others go above and beyond our expectations. We both truly appreciate everything you ladies did to help her with her hair! It is absolutely beautiful. I was just there this past weekend for hair and makeup for my daughter's wedding. I was concerned because I come from a more populated area and it is hard to find a good salon here. A friend in the area recommended Apple Day Spa as the only place she will go. Thank goodness for the recommendation! Let me tell you, I wish I could move this salon to my area of Long Island. Their technique, both hair and makeup, was meticulous and outstanding. At the wedding friends and family told me I looked 10 years younger. I infrequently have makeup done because it is always too heavy or too strong, this was perfect. People were commenting on how blue my eyes are (I was told they were going to make my eyes pop) and that has never happened to me. My hair was stunning and lasted all night long and it was a long night. On top of all of their professionalism, they were fun! We had a blast!!
