Carson General Store — Local services in Hood River

Best store ever. The longer the comment the better. So I'm gonna use up a lot of space just by typing out a memory about this store. The first time I ever went to this store I was in the backseat of a 95 Saturn sl2....me in the passenger backseat, my friend in the front passenger, and his mom driving. On the way back from her husband's elk camp a semi truck and trailer came up fast on us outta nowhere. He was so close that me(In the backseat) could not see his head lights that's how close he was. So she(my friends mom) would accelerate any chance she got(curvy backroads) This went on for about two and a half minutes at anywhere from 25 mph up to 80mph. Then finally we saw a sign for this general store and pulled in. I don't know if the trucker lost his breaks or was just in a hurry(it was around 930/10 pm) but we had to come in to the store parking lot hot just barely missing a couple of cars leaving.
