Dollar General — Local services in Hopewell Township

Store manager, Kim is extremely rude. Talks about “coupon” customers right in front of other customers. (I am not a couponer but she was yelling about one outside while smoking). Carts are now being store all the way in the side of the building so you can’t see them from the entrance. Kim also does not seem to like it when you ask her any questions (I’m sure she’s a fabulous boss 😂). Had me go on a cart scavenger hunt in the rain with my 1 year old and 5 year old. Store shelves are never stocked. I only go to this location when I am desperate (normally I regret it bc they don’t have what I need anyway). The way the boxes of merchandise are tetrised around the place you’d die instead of mazing your way out if there was ever an emergency. The regular employees are always friendly they can’t help bad management. Btw the carts are behind...

I love dollar general. The prices are really good and they have a good selection of products. Good toys for the kids at prices lower than Walmart and target. They sell the some of the same products as Walmart and target for a lot less.

My only gripe is that sometimes when your ready to checkout the cashier would be stocking shelves so I have to call out that I’m ready to check out.

Why don’t they have a separate worker just for stoking products 🤔

Hated??? LOL! One star just to get folks attention that I ran into Dollar General to grab my granddaughter a hat and gloves because she decided she wanted to go to the park and we had already left home... AND THE STORE MANAGER SAID THEY NO LONGER SELL CLOTHES OR APPAREL! Had been told to pack everything up and send back to the warehouse! There goes another BIG convenience...I will still shop there, but, heads up, NO last minute shopping...
