Dollar General — Local services in Horicon

Well I'm done shopping here. I used to love this store but every time I go in it gets worse. Not only do they want you to use the automatic check out, which never works, now they don't even bother replacing the bags at it or staffing the front for when you need help. I waited about 10 minutes, sick/feverish/just wanting some meds and tissues, while they were in back doing who knows what. I knew they were there because I had just talked to one of them stocking, and heard the other one say she was leaving and he'd have to go up front. But she actually was the one who came up to help. You would think there'd be a lot of theft with this lax work ethic. It sure isn't good customer service. And, the prices are getting higher anyway. Last time one of the worker's little kids were in there playing in the door beeper alarm, which made for super annoying shopping when you're sick. And they don't answer the bell anyway. Guess I will drive out of my way to a different store or go...

EVERY time I have gone in this store they have all their carts full of stuff blocking the aisles. You can’t get to what you want. It’s ridiculous! I have politely asks a few times why they do this and their answer is we just got a truck load in! That excuse gets old! No other DG has their isles blocked. I will not be shopping at this store any longer. I will drive the 15 minutes...

I came to grab a few quick things & had to wait in line when I shouldn’t have because the employees were too interested in smoking & talkin. So much so that both of them went outside and left customers in the store with even the office wide open… Y’all sure self checkouts are the problem? I’m sure it’s just bad...
