Skate Odyssey of Horn Lake & After School Care — Local services in Horn Lake

The kids enjoyed skating, the pizza, and the music, but the general manager was rude. When I originally placed my order online, I requested a Coke and fruit punch. When they brought out the food and drinks, I noticed that we had two pitchers of lemonade. I was fine with one pitcher of lemonade, but I wanted Coke for myself and the other adults. We served the kids pizza, and we poured them (all of the kids at the party) cups of lemonade. They started complaining about the lemonade not being sweet enough. We didn’t have a host, so I stood in the long concession line ( I had to do this several times during the party because no one checked on us/we didn’t have a host!), and I explained to them the problem with my order and the lemonade not being sweet enough. He told me that one of his workers said that I ordered two pitchers of lemonade, and he refused to believe anything I said. He was basically saying that she was right, and I was wrong! He disregarded the fact that MOST of the kids’ cups were still filled with lemonade that was not satisfying to them. They didn’t drink it. It was not sweet. He refused to correct my order. He didn’t show me any type of customer courtesy. I’ve tried to get in contact with the owner twice, but no one has returned my call. My son’s birthday party was in April, and I’m still waiting to hear...

I can honestly say that this place is amazing. Not sure why people are complaining about prices because they are pretty reasonable compared to what you'd pay for snacks at the movies. The workers are all friendly and attentive to the kids. I watch them all of the time and love how they try to help the little ones that are struggling. I've never come across a rude employee. I'm not sure who it is my mother, younger brother and I always greet at the door but he's always welcoming. I feel safe here always. Every time I come here, I want to skate but I'm too embarrassed of being laughed at by falling on my butt. Initially I refused to skate because of the extra weight I was carrying, but in the last few months I've been losing it, so I most definitely need to get out there and skate. But really is just all insecurity. The employees really inspire me to get out there and move because they're always working with everyone making sure they are comfortable. This place is awesome! I booked a party online month’s in advance for my daughters birthday party, we was running late to the party by 30 minutes .. they let us keep the room longer ! We was booked from 2:00 to 3:30 but they let us keep the room until almost 5pm ! The pizza was awesome and they gave us more then enough to drink . Staff was friendly and so helpful and the kids had a blast! We got free tickets to the return for my daughter and all of her guest 10 tickets total two extra large pizzas and three pitchers of soda and all under $175.00 the kids got tickets to play games it was a fun experience for everyone and a very positive friendly place lots of games snacks and a huge skating floor. Highly recommend for any birthday party you might be planning for! I could not have asked for more a special thank you so much to the staff and workers that made this day wonderful for my daughter.
