I was very nice to him because I know it’s not his fault and he disregarded everything I said and I am out of 25 dollars now because of this. I been making sausage for years . The casings I bought on August 10th are BAD.. I know what I am talking about. I am pissed off. I bought casings from another meat market down the street yesterday and they are just fine and they do not smell like garbage and sour milk like the ones I purchased from buds. Due to the manager at Buds refusing to replace or give a refund for selling me a rancid bag of casings I will no longer shop at buds. I don’t patronize stores who refuse to replace or refund your money when they give you a bad product . I just found out that Buds is one of those places. I will never come here ever again. We went in with an order of ten potatoes and some other items. We paid for ten potatoes. We thought all items was placed in a box. Once we got back to the school and noticed we only had nine potatoes. We called to let them know we were short by one potatoes, we was told they had to check the cameras. They called back to state all potatoes was given. It is sad we paid for items that we did not get. The owner of Bud's House Meat told me it was nothing they could do because we were given all items. It is sad that there was nothing Bud's House Meat was willing to do. But what is even sadder, is a school teacher had to go with out lunch she paid for. As a side note as teacher we already pay for supplies for our student. So what we pay for lunch we should get what we pay for. Read moreDon’t buy the fried turkey! Purchased a 60 dollar fried turkey online. Drove 45 minutes to pick it up. To my horror on Thanksgiving morning upon opening the wrapped turkey got a strong ammonia smell emanating from the turkey which appeared dried up and old. I refrigerated the turkey immediately once I got home so was very surprised. I had to throw the turkey out. Couldn’t serve that to my family. Called and spoke with Lorenzo the manager the next week. He became very defensive and abrupt insinuating I was lying because they sell hundreds of turkeys and that hasn’t happened before. Raised his voice during the discussion and told me no turkey no refund. So I should have held onto the ammonia smelling turkey for 4 days and returned when they opened back up right?! Wrong! Probably would have said it went bad once I took it out the bag and has nothing to do with him. To think I drove 45 minutes for that disaster. Bought a fried turkey from them years ago with no problem. But yet here we are. It’s not the 60 dollars down the drain that matters to me. It’s the fact of how dismissive he was and wouldn’t give me a chance to talk. Poor customer service, the absolute worst. Wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy....
