Maxim seafood — Restaurant in Houston

I’ve heard so many great rumors/reviews about their food so today for the first time I went and tried their crawfish; Now I’ve had some good crawfish, but I must say these by far were the best crawfish I’ve ever tasted and they were fresh. I did something out the ordinary that’s I’ve never done to any restaurant and called them and told them how good their crawfish were and how I love their customer service skills. The owner was so polite from the moment I called and asked if they had any crawfish. When I got there his demeanor was the same as over the phone, just so polite. I learned as I’m in school for business this thing called 7/11 which means people get 7 different impressions of you in 11 seconds and the impression starts when you walk through the door. Well it started over the phone and I’ll definitely be going back. Your attitude and impression is what draws your clientele. I honestly don’t think I wanna order crawfish from anywhere...

I’m new to the area and the most popular fried fish place was too busy so I found this place on google as an alternative. Big mistake. Although the staff were friendly the fried catfish was absolutely terrible. It was 70% breading and 30% fish. The side salad was made of huge slices of ice berg lettuce, one slice of tomato and a squirt of thousand island dressing. I ended up throwing the plate away and going back to the other place and waiting the hour to get real fried catfish. This place is totally wrong for deceiving the customer with all that extra breading on the fish, only to discover that there is very little fish on the plate. I eat here alot their monk rice and even the regular fried rice is so good always fresh i love love love thier gizzards fresh and made to order and dont even get me started on the catfish nuggets

But that’s not why i am leaving this review today i ordered online but wasnt paying attention and forgot to add combo when I got my face frowned up because i realized my mistake and before i could even ask how much to make it a combo they sweet little older lady said she would fix it they always provide top notch services even the owners children love this joint i have tried almost every thing on the menu if I could give 10...
