For those of you that are like me and reading reviews to see if this establishment is for you then look no further. This was by far one of the best decisions that I made while vacationing in Texas. The owner, Mr. Lewis Goode, who happens to be a marine veteran, and his entire staff was overly accommodating from the very first conversation on the phone. I was accepted without an appointment and taken care of in a timely fashion. The fun loving environment, historical facts, soothing music, and the decorum would’ve sufficed alone but it was enhanced more when a non partial election representative came and began verifying and registering people to vote. This was an additional incentive that made the overall experience even better. Mr.Goode (Lewis) created such a great experience. I'm visiting from out of town so I googled local barbers in 3rd ward. Found this barbershop and viewed their social media before calling to check their availability on short notice. Lewis answered the phone with goode energy, told me to come on and that he'll have some hot coffee ready for me. When I arrived he immediately welcomed me. The traditional barbershop decor with a shoe-shine stand, coffee maker, tv, use of woods, and photos of leaders in the community creates nostalgia. Lewis was a great conversationalist while cutting my hair as well. He was my father, uncle, friend, and supporter all wrapped in one. Goode looks i tell ya.. they really do satisfy the customers. i’m from Cali so it was hard to find a good barbershop but once i step into this establishment. i never left. kincade is the truth and i recommend him to all my associates, friends, and family. Most importantly, kincade is very talented, flexible and social able!
