Gordon Restaurant Market — Local services in Houston

I stopped for their $3 chicken deal but I walked out happy and surprised. This place is indeed like a mini Sams/Aldi's for restaurant owners or businesses. But if you like buying in bulk and you do not want to pay a membership the prices are on point. They have some items in here that are also like regular grocery store items like fresh fruits, vegetables, and individually wrapped foods. Considering that this area is a food desert, it is the best price not processed or prepackaged food stuffs in the area. It's not beating an H-E-B sale item but at regular price it is beating them. Decided to check out this store as it opened up near my home. It’s kind of like a mini Sam’s club or similar store where you can buy most of the grocery items in bulk which is good if you have a restaurant or other type of food business.The store also has a nice selection of food items from fruits and vegetables (I found a perfectly ripe honeydew melon) to meat and a couple of cooked items like rotisserie chickens. Just a heads up, most of your items will be packaged inside cardboard boxes...

So far, so good. I certainly want to give 5 stars on the store, but I want to try more products. The shelf foods, freezer products and location are complementary, seeing this is a restaurant market.
