Iron Sight Gym is hands down one of the best gyms I’ve ever been to. The atmosphere is unmatched gritty, focused, and filled with people who actually want to put in work. The equipment is top-tier, the space is clean, and there’s a real sense of community here. Whether you’re powerlifting, bodybuilding, or just trying to get in shape, this gym has everything you need. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and the vibe just pushes you to go harder. Highly recommend it to anyone serious about training!

I believe it’s $11 for a day pass, $20 for 24 hours (so if you go at 5p one day, you could go again next day at 8a, for example). Good vibes and lots of variety of equipment, racks, machines, etc. Anything you could need to get an effective workout in. Staff is also incredibly friendly. Lots of secure parking. Good music blasting so no need to headphones which is surprisingly nice.

This is a great powerlifting gym in the Pasadena area! It’s in a warehouse area towards the back so there’s plenty of space here with lots of room for parking.

The main entrance room has fridges stocked up with macro-friendly meals and snacks as well as energy drinks, protein shakes, etc. They also have Iron Sight merch that you can purchase. Right when you walk in (and even from outside), you can hear the music. Even with noise cancellation, you can still hear the gym’s music so if that’s not your thing, this gym might not be for you- it’s all rap and latin music so at least it’s not like a Planet Fitness playlist lol.

This gym is very spacious (8400 sqft). There’s a powerlifting side with lots of combo racks and 5 (I think) deadlift platforms. There’s plenty of bars (TSS, OPB, etc) with all the kilo weights. Even when the gym is at its busiest, I never had to wait that long to get a rack.

There’s also a bodybuilding side where there’s plenty of machines and dumbbells to workout with. And in the far corner, you have cardio machines and a turf space to warm up.

As for amenities, there are only two bathrooms and the only light source inside is a LED strip light (dark green). Personally, I like brighter bathrooms so I can check up on myself in the mirror before stepping back in the gym. I also wish there was an extra table or space to put my clothes down for when I change. But in one of the bathrooms, they have extra deodorant and perfume which is going to come in real handy because this gym does not have AC and the summers in Houston are brutal. The only places where this gym has AC is the main entrance room and the posing room (yay for posing room)!

In terms of pricing, the initiation fee is expensive ($100) but the monthly membership is $65 and they offer discounts to students and first responders which is nice.

In terms of the gym itself, I would give it a 4/5 but the workers and owner are a 5/5. The staff here are all extremely friendly and always make you feel so welcome. Not to mention, everyone who works out here is always more than happy to spot/support you!

For more photos and information about the gym, I highly recommend checking out their instagram...

Absolutely love this gym!

I joined iron sight at the beginning of 2023 and never regretted my decision. To begin, the employees are incredibly friendly and always make sure to greet everyone. Whenever I needed help with a movement or figuring out how a machine works, they never hesitated to help me or find someone who could. They are always caring for the gym itself and making sure that it stays clean and a positive environment for everyone. They great every person who walks in and wishes them a good workout. I’ve often had low battery and they are always willing to lend me a charger. In addition, they provide recommendations for the energy drinks they sell in the office and let me know when a new order of protein pastries is coming in. Try the muffins! Rubio and Yesenia, the owner, are always looking to improve and expand the gym by installing new equipment, holding events such as Christmas toy drives and seasonal open gyms. The variety of machines guarantees you’ll hit a good workout with a pump like no other.

One of my fears when joining was feeling comfortable in a powerlifting style gym, but I’m here to say, do not worry! The members are friendly, kind and always willing to help if you need to check your form, a spot for your PRs or just want to make friends. The gym celebrates its members wins by having a walk you can add your SBD numbers and showcasing them on their Instagram page. In addition, the gym is separated into three sections with different machines and purposes. It allows for more members and variety of machines. There’s full size mirrors located around the gym to showcase the pump and check your form along with a posing room with lights.

They stand by their motto of “Never Lose Sight” of your goals and what is important to you, through the hard times and...

Before I say anything, these pictures were taken before they rearranged the place. I started coming in about 6 months ago from a commercial gym and I’m really glad I made the change. The place is amazing, I usually come in morning time before noon and it gets filled up but not to the point where you have to wait a long time to use equipment. The place has 3 rooms. First room being more of a powerarea with the amazing kilo plates, Texas Power Barbells, combo racks, deadlifts platforms, and of course the chalk bowl. Second room is more for the free weights room with dumbbells and nice machines that I’ve never seen before. The final room is more of a cardio room, yes there are stair masters there, with four half combo racks attached together and a turf area that’s really good for stretching. They also added a punching bag there I believe so, so if you’re into that then you could give that a shot. The gym music playlist is great, almost feels like a club, filled in mainly with rap and reggaeton so if you like Bad Bunny and Rauw Alejandro then this gym is a must. Restrooms are always clean and I’m always seeing the staff working to keep the place clean. Another cool thing is that they have a shoe company in the second room that goes by the name of Offspring Goods, so if you’re a shoe collector then you can check them out after a lift. And finally the staff, the staff is AMAZING and I say this genuinely. They’re always having a smile and greeting you in a proper way. They will always try to push you to get better and improve your hard work. Sometimes it’s literally amazing and cool to see how many people know each other in there, the environment is literally like a second family. I really suggest you give this gym a shot at least to see if...
