Chief Cajun Big Baby Hamburgers — Restaurant in Houston

This place far exceeded all of the expectations that I had going in, expectations which were quite lofty themselves, I assure you, given all of the praise that this place has received from friends of mine who have been here. I called ahead, because I heard that it can take a long time to get your burger(s) if you don't, and I was extremely happy with the level of professionalism I experienced with their customer service personnel, and the speed with which my order was made available for pick-up.

The burger and the fries were both absolutely phenomenal, each in their own right. The portion size was insane, given the price, one would expect way, way, less. My girlfriend and I split the burger and fries for dinner, and there was still enough left of both for me to eat it the next day for lunch.

Go.

You won't be disappointed, unless you are the kind of person who loves to hate things, and finds any little reason, no matter how insignificant, to use as kindling for that hatred.

In my quest to find the best burger in Htown I stumbled upon Chief Cajun’s Big Baby Hamburgers and let me start off by saying these burgers are legit like a BIG baby! I had the BBCheeseburger with all the standard veggies. The thiccc patty was nicely seasoned and the lettuce crisp with a side of fries piled high. You get a random soda to wash it all down with before you get comfy and take that sweet afternoon nap.

2 take aways for why this review is 4 stars is first the wait was 45minutes. Thankfully it wasn’t too hot but I can see in the summer time it’ll be hell and my second point is all the flies hanging around.

TLDR: Now the real question is… is Chief Cajun’s the best burger in town? Idk you might have to go try it for yourself but maybe it’s best to call in your order so you don’t have to wait with the flies. What I do know is it’s one of the best bang for your buck...

These are the very best burgers you can get. Fancy restaurants to fast food joints- none are as good. The burgers are about a full pound each and beyond filling. MAKE SURE TO ORDER AT LEAST 30-45 MINUTES IN ADVANCE. Don’t bother ordering at the window unless you like waiting in your car for a good 45 min. Always order in advance. It’s to-go only.
